良寛さんを偲ぶ

弥彦山隣りの多宝山から見おろす国上山と信濃川が流れる越後平野。良寛さんが国上山の五合庵に住んだ頃から200年以上経ちました。「たらちねの　ははがかたみと　あさゆふに　佐渡のしまべを　うち見つるかも」と母親を偲んだ佐渡。そして良寛さんが愛した貞心尼が生まれ、剃髪してから住んだ長岡もここ多宝山から望ことができます。
