Climbing up the hill through the thicket, there is a small shrine at the top. The rural landscape seen from there is a fresh sight that I have never seen before in this area. Below lies the river terrace and farmland along the Wada River, with Mount Morotomi stretching out in the distance. Looking in the opposite direction, you can see the Uonuma Hills and the Echigo Three Mountains, as well as the Kobegawa and Hamagawa rivers and other farmland scenery. The connection between the rich land, farmland, and the houses where people live is evident, giving a sense of the abundance of the land.
