Trees in heavy snowfall areas are exposed to harsh conditions throughout the long winter. Their branches are often broken by heavy, wet snow, leaving them in a pitiful state. This cherry tree is no exception; it is far from being in good shape. However, its ability to withstand the weight of the snow and stand tall conveys a sense of strength and vitality.
By mid-April, snow had accumulated on the fully bloomed cherry blossoms. In the clear morning sunlight, when the flowers are at their most beautiful, the petals reflect the blue sky and shimmer in magenta. Even in snowy regions, the opportunity to see cherry blossoms and snow together is not very common. This light snow, illuminated by the sun, will likely melt away within an hour.
